Well, I mean, it seems like it's at least not the worst assumption, considering Whiz has expressed concern with keeping both Walker and Tangela... I can certainly concede to being wrong here, but it didn't seem to outrageous to guess that. Interested to see your article tomorrow... I'd ask how you got your info but I suppose I will find out tomorrow!

Chantelle Anderson can't go to Detroit. They already have Swin, Cheryl, Tweety and Barb.
Adding Chantelle would violate the "Siren Cap"
The Shock is a basketball team not a freaking modeling agency!

Chandi Jones isn't going anywhere. She is a big part of our future.

For a little different perspective regarding Ms. Jones in Detroit, I have to say SFO, if Chandi stays there, she will be wilting on the vine playing behind Tweety. There is no place for her to develop in Detroit...so set her free! (Not that I would want to see her destroyed in a Comets jersey, either.)
BTW...I will be at the University of Houston this Saturday night to see Chandi's jersey retired. I am not completely positive, but I think her's is the first women's bball jersey to be retired there. Her banner will hang with the likes of Elvin Hayes, Otis Birdsong, Clyde Drexler and The Dream...and, oh yeah, that fabulous red-and-white-polka-dotted tribute to Coach Lewis. Not bad company...

I presume that the theory is still to have Chandi turn into a PG. I think the Shock already have a great PG on their team in Powell, so I suppose Chandi would be the 3rd guard, similar to the Kedra situation. EP's injuries last year probably did not help out the situation as Chandi was probably thrown into the fire a little quicker than anticipated. I don't see Chandi taking EP's spot, now maybe BL thinks differently, but I hold Powell in very high regard, and don't think she should be coming off the bench. She is starter quality. Notice the 7 points and 7 assists in the playoffs last year. That is at least Ticha-esque...
