Tomorrow actually...

Anyway, after careful computation and consideration, my opening day play is.....

Helen Darling?

I feel like I'm playing catch up already

I'm taking CP3. I don't think Phoenix has anyone who can stop LL and CP3. I expect them to focus more on LL and for CP3 to fill the stat card.

I had the same thought. Glad I went with it Mr. Green

Erin Thorn. I'm not impressed with Connecticut's perimeter defense, but I am impressed with their post play. I expect a lot of kickouts.

I had Katie Douglas (good for a respectable 34 points) yesterday and I have Katie Smith today. Congrats to everyone who took CP3 for her record-setting opening game. But let me ask you this: Do you really think that will be her best performance this year? I'm hoping that is just a taste of what she can do. Imagine what will happen when the Sparks play Atlanta, or Washington. Whooeee! She is as advertised. And all of us UT fans are saying, "We tried to tell you she was special!"

It could well be one of her best, numbers-wise. Phoenix don't play defence, don't rebound, and play the fastest paced, highest-scoring basketball in the league. Obviously that helps fantasy scoring. Parker won't play 38 minutes against Atlanta because they'll likely blow the Dream out early. She probably won't put up the same numbers against the likes of Washington because the Mystics have actual post players and play a vastly slower pace than Phoenix.

For the record, my Parker pick is their visit to Chicago.

The link to the Pick One Challenge from WNBA.com is for the 2007 game (what maroons!). That may be why you are getting errors.

If you change the 2007 in the URL to 2008 on your address line, you can then access the game. I suggest you then bookmark it so you can navigate there directly.

mabell, I love the tagline in your signature!

As for me, in the first two days I took Lindsay Whalen and Kara Braxton. I picked up a total of 34 points.

Here's hoping that I get off to a better start when I take my pick for tomorrow.

Yep, that's the link that gives me errors. It worked fine for me before yesterday.
