Serena Williams has been listed at No. 6 on Mr. Blackwell's annual top 10 list of worst-dressed women.

"Courting disaster with every style-free serve, black leather at the Open takes a lot of nerve!" he wrote about Williams in a statement released Tuesday. "From the Queen of Tennis to Fatal Fashion Menace -- non-stop!"

Nicollette Sheridan of TV's "Desperate Housewives" is the worst of the worst when it comes to wardrobe, according to Mr. Blackwell.

"In barely-there bombs, she's a taste-free pain. Let's crown her the Tacky Temptress of Wisteria Lane," Blackwell wrote.

Other fashion losers include Lindsay Lohan, Courtney Love, Serena Williams, Britney Spears, Paula Abdul, Meryl Streep and Anna Nicole Smith.

Sisters Jessica and Ashlee Simpson tied for third place. "These two prove that bad taste is positively genetic!" Blackwell said.

Blackwell...Sometimes he's right and other times he's wrong.

Hey cam, did you see a pic of the guy Serena is supposed to be dating?

She should do better. Even you or I make a better choice than that guy...

The guy...I believe his name is Brent Ratner or something like that...is in movie production. But I am sure that is just coincidence...

And yes, she could do better...ME!

Serena looks good today in the first round of the Australian Open, winning 6-1, 6-1. Wearing a yellow top and tennis shoes, white skirt. Blackwell don't know crap...

The outfit would have worked... if she was a kitschy Japanese girl.

Hey, that could've been part of the new Serena Williams collection. It was unveiled on the 13th (actually the 12th since it was in Australia), but who knows??

I had the pleasure of working on that account Smile

He sounds like a desert the sinking ship type or grass is greener over the hill type to me, he was Rebecca Gayheart's boyfriend forever and he also directed the Rush Hour movies

Mary Carillo could be my all-time favorite commentator, regardless of sport.

While I love Serena, Carillo came up with a priceless comment about her outfit: "It looks dental."

For the last 5 years that I've been following tennis closely, my favorite commentator is still Mary Joe Fernandez. She has good analysis and hilarious color commentary, which is quite impressive when she has to do it while speaking in that subdued tennis voice.

One of my favorite comments was in a doubles match in the 2002 Aussie Open. Daniela Hantuchova and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario VS Anna Kournikova and Martina Hingis. Her partner was commenting about how Anna and Martina were dominating the match and likely to partner up in the future.

Mary Joe then said: "And then there's Hantuchova, who's most likely to be found at a Cocktail Party..."

Shocked

Of course, Daniela's fashion statement was overshadowed by the huge hug and kiss Anna gave Martina after their victory. Razz I've never seen Martina blush so much, lol.

The squealing stringbean is driving Serena insane right now and more officials are making errors never going Serena's way as in the US Open semi-finals. Gee, Serena, do something, girl...

She is strangely "skipping" some squeals and gruntings now and then. Maybe it's not as spontaneous as it looks like...
