Also, I hate jump-shooting teams. The Mavs have gone from entertaining to pitiful.
Same with the Libs, only that they were never as entertaining as the Mavs once were.

I'm shocked at how they don't get Dirk the ball enough. He's only getting the ball when he's well guarded, almost identically as the Libs did with Tari. Nobody is working to get him open looks. He's taking lots of bad shots tonight, which is so unlike him (at least, that's what it was like during the Nash years). No wonder his shooting % has plummeted this year. If he's on a bad shooting night like tonight, the team just can't get anything right. Finley and Brickhouse are two ballhogs, with swoopenesque shot-selection. Terry is doing fine, he's at least trying to get something going.
I was totally mad when they traded Jamison. He was a great player for the Mavs last year. Cuban thinks he knows everything, but this year, he's only made other teams better.

Damn, he sure did something in the 4th quarter. The refs didn't call that goaltending on Duncan...
Well, SA is the better team and the Mavs were missing 3 starters...

I always chuckle when I see that stat about Nellie having the most victories without appearing in the Finals.
Uh duh, think they're might be a reason????

Oh no, now he's wearing a goofy headband. His hair is sticking out all over, it's a mess.
BTW, Nellie will be out for 2 weeks. I don't trust Avery Johnson to do a better job than that, but let's give the guy a chance...

Avery is a Nellie disciple; don't be optimistic. He'll probably add himself to the PG mix!

Terry has been very effective of late. When Marquis Daniels comes back, Nellie or Avery will have a headache to define the starting 5.
I think there are two spots up for grabs in the starting lineup, and that is PG and SF.

Until Cuban opens his midseason wallet and spends to get Kidd...interesting that Kidd had a triple-double against the Mavs and the Nets almost won. Hadn't Dirk gotten back on one good ankle, the Mavs would've lost that game...
BTW, I am writing a letter and suggesting the Fab 5 pay a visit to Dirk sometime this winter...
