Please select one Top Efficiency Performer from among the Players for Phoenix and Detroit.

Please either list the Player's Full Name or First Initial, Last Name, and Team.

Here are examples:
Christi Thomas
C. Thomas, LAS

Since Christi and LaToya both play for Los Angeles, please list your selection in one of the two forms shown to be certain of getting credit for the Player that you want.

Of course Los Angeles is not in the Playoffs, but that is a good example to show why it is best to take the time to list the Player's Full Name.

You will also need to select a Winner in the Phoenix at Detroit Game.

PHO and DET are fine just so long as we can identify the Team you have chosen.

Please note that you will have a total of 2 selections on each of the remaining days in this year's Playoffs --- one Player of the Day and one Winning Team.

Please remember that Players must be selected prior to the start of today's Game which is 4:30 P.M. Eastern Time.

I see that Deanna Nolan is doubtful for Sunday due to a knee injury -posted on rebkell - I'd like to change my choices to. It will be tough, but I'm going with the Shock to take it all

Nolan is doubtful? Or is it Ford? I don't remember Deanna getting hurt. If they're both out (Ford AND Nolan) then I like the Mercury's chances even more.

Message received from Admiral Needa:

Hey Phil,

Congrats, Looks like you've won it and the only
competition is for 2nd place. For the series, back in
MARCH, I predicted Detroit would beat Phoenix in 5
games. Well, it lasted 5 games, as I predicted, but
with all the injuries that DET has, and the momentum
that PHO has, I think I have to change my pick..

Not having Ford would be OK if I saw Laimbeer show
more confidence in Katie Feenstra, and to an extent
Kara Braxton... However, Laimbeer keeps on giving
Feenstra sparse minutes. Moreover, several times
during Game 3, Feenstra was single covered by the 6'0"
Taurasi and the team didn't pass her the ball. So even
Feenstra's teammates don't show much confidence in
her, which is ridiculous. In Game 4 she got 2 minutes.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/Admiral_Needa/09-11-07%20Finals%20Game%203/SmithWontPasstoFeenstra.jpg

For Detroit, they'll have to turn back the clock to
Game 1, and get big production from Feenstra and
Braxton. Swin Cash will have to at least post a 12, 5
and 2 on a high FG%, Nolan and Smith will have to be
like Nolan and Smith, and Plenette Pierson will have
to play like a Finals MVP.

For Phoenix, Pondexter will have to take advantage of
the hampered Nolan, but not be over-confident and go
and take every possible shot available to her like she
did in Game 1 (10-2Cool. For Diana, she'll have to play
like last game, where she didn't just sit back and
take 3-pters all the time. She'll have to drive and
have to hit the 2s. For Tangela and Penny, I expect
them to do much better than Game 4 with Ford likely
out. Kelly Mazzante has to step up and score like she
always does and play good defense. Schumacher has to
fill in the blanks on rebounding.

I don't know why Laimbeer went small the last 2 games,
as it seemed to play right into PHO's hands. PHO plays
better small ball. However, it looks like this game
DET will have to... One thing's for sure... The team
that loses is going to have to run through the
gauntlet of criticism. Both teams could have had it by
now. Razz

For Sunday, I'll take

Player: Diana Taurasi
Team: Phoenix Mercury

Ridin' along in my automobile...

Guess who are these 4 players that I saw in the Club
at Phoenix... Razz

Here are my guesses for Sunday:

Diana Taurasi, PHO

Detroit Shock

I am finding it really hard to believe that Deanna Nolan is injured that much, but I am taking Taurasi just in case. And Detroit is really hard to beat in a Game 5 at home. I sincerely hope that everyone has enjoyed the Playoff Fantasy Game. Good Luck.
