February: Hurting for fans, suffering an image problem and noting the success of 2-Ball, the NBA decided to change its All-Star game format by having its All Stars play the WNBA All Stars. Diana Taurasi lead the WNBA stars to a 68-14 win.

Kobe Bryant complained throughout the game that the WNBA team cheated by throwing the ball to one another and not letting him dribble to the basket. Following the game, the NBA team learned that these concepts are known as "passing" and "playing defense."
