Hey everyone... I'm getting these 3 games on TV tomorrow, anybody I should keep an eye out for? And BTW, where is a one-stop WNBA.com/yahoosports like webpage to get all the stats, opinions and data? Shocked The ESPN page is terrible... takes forever just to find out how tall and what year is everyone Confused

North Carolina @ Maryland FSN, 4pm PST
Stanford @ Arizona FSN, 130 pm PST
DePaul @ Marquette, ESPN2, 1pm PST

UNC/Md - I would watch Langhorne and Doran from Maryland. For UNC, they are all athletic, but I would probably keep an eye on Latta, Little, and Larkins.

I don't know much about Arizona, but Stanford has a great freshman in Candice Wiggins. Suminski is also a good threat from the outside.

DePaul has some very athletic players as well, but I think their best player is Khara (sp?) Smith.

Maryland: Crystal Langhorne and Shay Doron.
UNC: Ivory Latta, Camille Little, Nikita Bell, and Erlana Larkins.
Stanford: Candice Wiggins, Kelly Suminski, and Brooke Smith.
Arizona: Dee-Dee Wheeler.
DePaul: Khara Smith.

MSNBC is the best place for rosters and boxscores:

Disagree pilight, msnbc used to be the best, but I think yahoo is much better now, they are normally well ahead of msnbc on boxes and scores, not always, but for the most part, yes. They both now use Stats, Inc as their source.

ESPN sux, plain and simple, I haven't looked at ESPN for a couple of years, why bother, if something is there someone will post a link.

MSNBC has slowed down, to be sure.

For ASun boxes, though, MSNBC still gets them up faster. Yahoo has gotten better for major conferences.

Stats Inc stats are available here without a middleperson:

http://snap.stats.com/snap/scripts/wcbk/stats.asp?cat=stats

Strangely, they're slow on boxscores. The boxscore link will be at the bottom of the game on the scoreboard page. Check the previous day to see.

Actually the boxes are there, they just don't put the links up in a hurry looks like... for example

http://snap.stats.com/snap/scripts/wcbk/scoreboards.asp?cat=boxscores&gamenum=200501090358

is a boxscore, but the link isn't on the score page, that is cool, I know the links Wink thanx, I will definitely add that one to my resources...

It's a miracle! Someone on Stanford is actually good! Razz Wiggins was nice, but she's a freshman, and has a habit of showing it. For example, many times she'd use her quickness to beat her defenders while driving into the paint, then blow the layup. She'd throw a great jab step, then shoot an ugly clanker.

Everytime I see Wheeler, she gets shorter and shorter... Confused

BTW, the boxscores still haven't come out, and still having to google all the players to find out the details Shocked Thanks though

Are you helpless? Has your reading comprehension gone on vacation, at the top of the boxscores there are links to rosters and stats, and OR-TR would stand for Offensive Rebounds and Total Rebounds Wink
