these are photos are from Carnegie Deli, and the huge sandwich that the owner made in tribute to Vickie Johnson scoring 3000 WNBA points.

I am very surprised that no one commented on how big this sandwich is and if they could eat it or not.

I had posted the brief write up on it before I had the photo lay out sent to me. Here is that link:

Now I love to eat just as much as any other person, but I will admit that I would have a hell of a time putting that meal away. LOL

Next time they have those eating contests at the Garden, they should do a VJ instead of chicken McNuggets Exclamation

BTW, have you heard that Blaze is going to get a sandwich named after her? Yeah, it's basically all bologna... Razz

talk about family-style! that sandwich is enough for a whole starting squad, and then it would only be 600 calories per person, which a WNBA starter would probably burn off during a regular game. (of course, overtime might mean some dessert, too!)

sandwiches at the carnegie deli are generally HUGE (although not THIS huge), to justify their $20 or so price. it's all kind of silly (who needs $20 worth of bread and cheese and whatever?) just give me a normal sandwich (1/4-1/3 pound of meat), 2 slices of bread, a couple of slices of cheese, etc. and charge me $5-8, you know?
