The ASG has been in the west once, Phoenix in 2000. It's been on the east coast every other time.

Since this has turned into another ASG thread, can someone post a history of the ASG-- where held each year since the first season?

Also, if you're Thibault (East ASG coach), who do you start in place of the injured Swin? Do you start Taj, or would that show own-team bias? (And why is the East starting lineup silly, while the West is perfectly defensible, especially with Katie's recent shooting woes?)

because the West keeps turning it down, they begged NY to do it in 2003 cause no one else wanted it

Well there you go. PHX is better. I would maybe consider driving, and I certainly would drive to LA or Sacramento, although I don't like how the Storm's road unis (which I love to death) clash so terribly with the purple and yellow of the Stables Center. Okay, now I'm just being shallow. Very Happy

Speaking of road and home unis. How do they determine which team is the home team? Is is always based on where the game is played? I realize in a basketball ASG is matters the least who is the home team and who is the away team, but is that how they decide?

I'm sorry this Sun/Lynx thread has been hijacked in to a ASG thread. My apologies. Good job Sun, for beating a Lynx team that my team seems to have an exceptionally hard time against.

I knew somehow that missed trey was going to come back to haunt the entire league....

As I stated in a different topic, one of her terrific plays was the sports center play #8 of the day in their "Top 10". This is twice this week she has been in the "Top 10". Congrats Lindsay!!!

I think he is crazy if he doesn't start Taj. She is having a fantastic season and it's not just the Sun supporters who think it! I'm sure he wont get accused of 'own-team bias'
