"I don't know what everyone's talking about," Laimbeer said. "It's beyond me why anyone would think that. They have people in place there who are very successful. It's a successful organization, and this is just stupid."
Laimbeer said he has no relationship with Gilbert, the millionaire founder of Quicken Loans. They're not friends, and there's nothing there.
"The answers are no, no, no, no, no, no," he said.
