Indiana manages to win even though Catchings scored a career-low 2 points. This would never have happened any other year she has been on the team.

Fever are also 5-0 in games decided by 5 or fewer points.

This adds up to a much more mentally together team then they have had in the past.

Katie Smith needs one more point and she will be at 3,500.

Wow, fever fans have a lot to be excited about. This team is not only talented, but young. Good win tonight!

Good attendance too! Katie Smith is obviously just fine, in case you were still wondering, and Lovelace is a scorer, in case you had any doubt. Did Nicole get hurt, or did she just leave her shot in Minnesota when she got on the airplane to go to the game? did she get hurt? If she had scored near her average the Lynx would have won. (But if Catching had scored near her average, the Fever would have won by more. Was Katie guarding her? Probably.) If the same game had taken place in the Target Center I'd be very unhappy; as it is, hey, at least Slovy got to see another win.... now we just have to beat the (dejected and humiliated) Storm.

It was a fun game.
Both teams started out sort of clumsy - it was almost comical.
The officials ley them play - not too many whistles (and a lot of contact)
Tamika only scored that one time - to reach 2000 points (2001)
Great defense from both teams.

Duh? I've noticed Tamika's shot has off most games this year and they are still winning. Fever is managing to win without her scoring.

Bling Bling Bevilaqua steps up and hits a big three in the dying stages of the game. That's why we call her ledge! Cool

After watching the play of the game, Tan White had a pretty good night. Who knew she could go behind the back and then a no-look pass to Kelly Miller for a layup? Wow.
