Hey Reb, I have a lineup locked in from weeks ago which is now above the cap because of the new numbers Shocked Does that mean I should change it? Question

that looks a little funny I know, I blinked a couple of times at it. but your original prices are locked. that center column tells you what that lineup costs TODAY with the new prices. I think I actually changed some lineups before I figured that one out. lol!

Correct, "Current Roster" is just that, also on the Leader Board, the zeros indicate that there is a roster entered for that day. The Days column is actually how many rosters you have submitted. I believe 39 Days is a full slate, that will take you up to the All Star Break. Prices change every game day,

Every game day? Shocked Question So strategy-wise, I guess it would be beneficial to re-think all lineups from now until the All-Star Break and try to lock and re-lock in players after someone has a bad game.... That's a lot of work... Confused Maybe a weekly update would be better? Thoughts?

BTW, I think Newton should also be available as a SG... Milton Jones is also playing SF, and maybe Ohlde as a PF too, although she seems to switch back to Center when Tamika Williams subs in... but hey, Wauters is also a PF.. Razz

You might have some decent ideas, but I don't have the time to sift through all the other drivel, It sure does take a lot of time. Thoughts?

Maybe if you posted without using colors and emoticons in every post, you'd have more time to study the Fantasy lineups. Thoughts?

I'm thinking about locking down the current positions until the All-Star break, I don't like changing positions too often, it really isn't fair to some people that have locked in their lineups in advance.

The prices are a different matter, the prices are going to fluctuate like the stock market, that was always my plan, but I was hoping we would have the positions fairly well locked in before now. I do realize that there are many players that are out of position. I always intended for them to be a bit more stable, and probably only changing on a timetable, probably set at the start of the first half, and then possibly readjusted at the All-Star break. The game is evolving, and I don't like changing positions, it's not that I don't like changing positions as that it is too sporadic, and it doesn't feel right in my gut.

That's why I'm not playing the game, it helps me take a more detached look at the game, and changing positions goes against my intended vision of how the game should work.

The way the game is written, makes it more difficult to do some things also.

I've not had as much time as I had hoped for to dedicate to the game this summer, so some things I intended to change on the interfaces hasn't happened yet.

I'm going to lock the positions until the All-Star break. I will try to create a page showng a listing of position changes that will occur at the All-Star break. I'll put the link to the page on the Fantasy Game pages.

So the player prices fluctuate based on how many people take the players rather than how well they actually play? That's interesting.

No, they are fluctuating based on their actual performances. The prices are dependant on their performances, not how many people select them(we don't have a big enough user base, to do this). The reference to the stock market was talking about the constant changing of prices dependent on performance. (which is where stock prices will eventually end up at also over the long run)

I truly am sorry, but I don't really know what I can do, I haven't had any problems with the lineups, it's the one thing I tried very hard to make sure works consistently.

Scoring errors can easily be corrected, but the lineup submissions are not something that I can change. I will try and make the lineups/rosters easier to deal with, the drop down menu for dates is ok, but it can be easy to select the wrong date, Alepp did this earlier in the year, I meant to post his lineup selections when he missed out on a day earlier in the year. It appeared he/she selected the wrong date, it was easy to spot, because of the time the lineups were submitted, they were in sequence, then bang the roster he submitted was two weeks in the future and then they were back in sequence.
