...if they decide to show up and play. A big if with this league.

Dallas: Chandi Jones, Kayte Christensen (!), Jia Perkins, to go with Cheryl Ford and Felicia Ragland returning. NO Swoopes, no DeForge

Birmingham: Jordan Adams, Aiysha Smith

Colorado: Tiffany McCain to go with Riley and Hammon. Edna Campbell and Helen Darling not returning

San Jose: Lassiter, Amisha Carter, made a big run at Vanessa Hayden who said no in the end. NOTE: did not draft Nicole Powell after being listed as playing

Chicago:
Ebony Hoffman(!), Kelly Gibson ( Laughing ), "hopeful" Tamika Catchings will return

Lubbock: Looks like team to beat? Planette Pierson, Alicia Thompson, Stacey Stephens, Jackie Stiles, Shereka Wright, Mazzante and the infamous Molly Creamer.

What a year for Houston to not have a team...I would have enjoyed seeing the Lubbock team this year. I might have to look at a road trip to Dallas to see those two team play. DeForge made a believer out of me last year when I saw her play for the Fury.

I had the same thought about Springfield. I would have loved to have seen some of the young players up close.

The important question- how many of these players are a) gonna show up, b) are even aware that they've been drafted?

Plenette is in Greece, she's not coming to the NWBL.

As usual, the Queen hits the nail on the head...

Chandi should be though in OZ in February...I don't think the Townsville Fire are lighting up the league over there at this time.

Straight from Kayte herself, she is going "overseas" after the new year, not sure where yet as a contract has not been signed. so nixx her in Dallas, and I think Annas interest in Dallas, or any NWBL team, is slim to none....maybe if they paid upfront, LOL

Well, since Kayte played in one of those NWBL all star exhibition games last year against UConn, BADLY sprained her ankle, and swore to me she would never be associated with the NWBL again, I kinda thought she wouldn't be playing!
