Pretty sure OU's press release is messed up. Why is Kentucky listed twice??? Anyway, here goes:
1. Maryland
2. North Carolina
3. Oklahoma
4. Stanford
5. Tennessee
6. Ohio State
7. Duke
8. Connecticut
9. Texas A&M
10. Georgia
11. Vanderbilt
12. Arizona State
13. Louisiana State
14. Rutgers
15. Kentucky
16. New Mexico
17. Texas Tech (WTF? )
18. Old Dominion
19. DePaul
20. Virginia
21. George Washington
22. Purdue
23. Iowa State
24. Pittsburgh
25. Southern California

Conference breakdowns:
SEC (5)
ACC (4)
Big 12 (4)
Big East (4)
Pac 10 (3)
Big 10 (2)
Atlantic 10 (1)
CAA (1)
Mountain West (1)
My biggest point of contention lies with the inclusion of Texas Tech. I don't see how they're ranked at all. Maybe they meant Texas. Even Baylor would've made a little more sense (not really, I think Texas should've been selected here). I think Purdue and Georgia might be a little too low and ODU and George Washington appear to be a bit too high. Still, this is a pretty good preseason poll. Outside of Texas Tech, I could probably make a solid argument for each team's ranking/inclusion.
The ACC had the following All-American picks:
Terrific 10
Crystal Langhorne, Maryland
Erlana Larkins, North Carolina
Ivory Latta, North Carolina
High Honorable Mention
Marissa Coleman, Maryland
Lindsey Harding, Duke
Honorable Mention
Alison Bales, Duke
Alicia Gladden, Florida State
Laura Harper, Maryland
Camille Little, North Carolina
Kristi Toliver, Maryland
Abby Waner, Duke
Sharneé Zoll, Virginia
Guess Maryland can't get more than 80% of the starting line-up recognized at a time.

"24. Pittsburgh"
Tell me they ain't just jaggin' round n at.
Geeze - when was the last time I saw that name on a wcbb poll?
Dang though - I'm going "home" for xmas for the first time in 15 years and will be staying two weeks - and just checked the Panthers' schedule and they'll play four games in that stretch - all in Mexico. Too bad, I really woulda liked to have seen Mallorie Winn play.
Looks like I'll have to settle for a Duchess clash w/ Princeton. Better n nuthin.

It was, I fixed it. Didn't even notice it last night. Thanks!
Okay, so no one has brought this up but....
Is Texas A&M a solid #9? I think they're a 12-14 at best. But maybe I'm wrong.
