Spurs and Pistons still have homecourt and play at home next. I didn't expect the Sonics to win, much less so convincingly.
Mavs opening up on the Suns, but I shouldn't be too happy, they can blow big leads in no-time.

Looks like Dampier has come to play tonight. If the guy can stay out of foul trouble, we have a chance. That and keep Stoudemires shots to a minimum. Looks like he has only taken 5 shots so far. That has got to be a low.

No doubt... Good for Damp... Also helpful is how Josh Howard is playing like an All-Star, which as I commented before, needs to happen to make up for the scoring loss for trading Jamison Confused 10, 7, 2, and 1 on a 4-7...

And it looks like Dirk 'The Force' Nowitzki is outplaying Shawn 'Unfunny Jumpshot' Marion, which is nice Razz

With Stoudemire only taking 8 shots, somebody has to make up for it. I love Steve Nash, but DAYUM! Shocked

I have no problem with him taking that many shots, I just have a problem with him making that many shots!!!
It obviously isn't the Suns' game. He has only 3 assists...it takes away from their game if he isn't involving the others. Even if he's having the game of his life like tonight.

Wow! He has only missed eight shots. OTOH, he also has 9 turnovers. I was thinking that about the assists. They have taken his favorite target away. (Stoudemire with only 8 shots) Thankfully, Dampier came through tonight. Hopefully that will carry over for the series in Phoenix.
Way to go MAVS! Very Happy

Ok, game over, Mavs win, 119-109. Good thing this time they never relinquished that double digit lead for too long, which was good to keep the Suns at bay. I think they'll have Joe Johnson back for the game in Phoenix, so the Mavs had better be prepared!
