ND leads 21-11 after 1Q.

ND playing pretty sloppy and missing easy shots, but dominating the boards and playing excellent D (holding JMU under 20% from the floor).

The score doesn't actually reflect the appearance of the game. Three 3s for JMU are most of their points.

A couple 3s now by ND and it's suddenly 36-15 four minutes into the 2nd Q.

Game settled down some in the 2nd Q. ND defense still tough for JMU to crack and they're still only shooting 22%. ND shooting better, but still not great, at 51%, but they've scored 47 in the first half and lead 47-23 so I can't complain much. But I bet Coach Ivey is complaining plenty in the locker room.

This has gotten ugly. In the 3rd Q, JMU was 2-14 from the floor, ND was 7-24. Too many fancy passes and shots for ND, but smothering defense by ND.

ND leads 67-32 after 3Q.

The officiating has been horrific this half as the game has deteriorated and gotten more physical. Hidalgo got shoulder-blocked hard into the scorers table, no foul called. King got creamed going back up after a miss and hit her head on the floor- is in the locker room now - no foul called. They're inconsistent and lost control of the game. The crowd is booing the officials loudly.

ND now leads 74-33 with 5:30 togo.

Edit- now they call a block on Hidalgo for nothing. Ivey who rarely complains to refs is letting the refs know she's fed up now.

JMU was picked to win the Sunbelt conference in the league's preseason poll. Peyton McDaniel was named preseason POY - had 8 pts tonight on 3-14 shooting.
