personally I could care less about the medal count....its becoming a farce anyway....what with the horrific attack on Christians at the opening to allowing males to pummel females in boxing and call it a fair match...

wake up people...

soon there will be no sports for girls or women....

That's not what's going on with the boxing. It's a political pissing match between the IOC and the International Boxing Association, with Khelif and Lin caught in the crossfire. Nobody said anything when they both fought in the last Olympics or in the years that they've competed outside the Olympics.

It seems unlikely that Algeria or China, where the fighters in question are from, would be accepting of a man competing as a woman.
