WVU showing little knowledge or ability to dribble penetrate or pass penetrate Iowa's zone. They mainly just heave threes. |

Tie ball game with 2 minutes to go. Not very auspicious for Iowa. They seem to be vulnerable to a team that has the defense of WVU but a more diverse and effective offense. |

Iowa didn't look like the overall 2 seed.

Judging by the eye test, I never understood Iowa as the number two overall.
I think that what the tournament has told me is that the Big Ten was much weaker overall and while the Big 12 has struggled to make a dent this year, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas State, Kansas, and West Virginia were all athletic, physical, and had advantages they could try and play to. Of course Texas was the cream of the crop and continues to look that way.
Meanwhile, the Big Ten seemed to shift gears to being a more offensive league - more enjoyable to watch in many ways in season, but less ready for the physical demanding play of March Madness. In many ways, it makes it more impressive that Iowa stuck it out today. Totally a game this team could have lost.
I think it has to be said - Iowa’s supporting cast around Clark is not that good. I think it’s completely fair to be amazed by what Clark has accomplished with Iowa.
All that said - Colorado will be an absolute nightmare if Clark doesn’t have an outstanding game. Colorado is so much better than their seed. Look at how well the PAC is doing in this tournament. Insane.
