These are in eastern time. Are you trying to say 6:00 pm ET? All start times are approximate since the second game starts about 25 minutes after the first game finishes.

Cal leads 36-28 HT

Once again Cal has gotten production from 9 playrrs.

Can they hold on? when Brink comes back, or can they force an early 4th foul?

Yeah, but you’re not the only one reading these threads. It only seems that way right now. For the 12 or 13 years I’ve been doing this, game threads have always been standardized to ET, as noted above. You didn’t put am, pm, or time zone on your post, so I had to deduce what you were talking about. But that’s what I do, I deduce. I’m the best damn deducer in this joint.

Now back to the game.

I’ve been noticing Cameron Brink always takes a three point shot early in a game, and if she misses it, she won’t take another one. I wonder if that’s some sort of agreement she has with the coach.

I looked at the box score again and noticed I’m wrong. Brink is now up to 0-3 from three. But maybe that’s in part because Stanford is behind, which is rare for them.

Cal seems to have Stanford on the ropes. Can they keep them there?

Is Cal even projected to make the NCAA tournament?

This game really turned on a single where Onyiah and Brink were ta gled. They called a foul on Onyiah but it appeared tbat Brink cought her in the face with an el ow in the face. She was out for the rest of the game.

No, Brink did not get Onyiah with an elbow. The replay showed that their heads collided when they were tangled up jostling for position. Onyiah's cheek and nose collided with the back of Brink's head, so Onyiah got the worst of the collision and didn't return to the game. Brink actually stumbled a bit forward from the force of the collision.
