FSU is shooting 54% from the field and 56% from three!!!!!! SNH.
Only reason ND is in the game is FSU has 11 turnovers. Latson has 21.

It's gonna suck that one of these teams has to lose.

That was kind of a dumb foul. It gives MD the chance to take the last shot now.
Why haven't we seen the view from the baseline???
FYI, ref Rod Creech is from Mishawaka, IN. Or at least lived there at some point. I'm not sure of his current status now.
Looks like Citron has tweaked that knee injury from earlier this year.
Is Niele mic'd for this? It looks like she has a battery pac in the waistband of her skirt.

Well, that was exciting. Poor Duke and UNC fans. They had to wait to see their game.
Double OT. I was worried that it would go to 3 OTs. I can't believe that foul at 4 seconds left in the 2nd OT. Citron was close to midcourt. I wonder if Latson miscounted the fouls and thought that they still had one to give. It gave ND the win.

Oh, and they didn't mention it during the broadcast, but Hidalgo did set the ND steals in a season record (regardless of class) with 118 so far this season. The previous record was 114 by Skylar Diggins in her senior year. Prior to this year, the top 6 in season steals at ND were seniors (Ivey in senior and 5th year senior years, Mary Gavin (pre-McGraw) in her senior year, and Jeannine Augustin in her senior year) plus Diggins' junior year.

Final score: Notre Dame 98-FSU 94 in OT. Good game. I love Hidalgo's game but think she could be a little more patient on taking a few of those shots and instead get her teammates more involved.

I think part of the problem is that there have been games where she's tried to do that and most of the other players aren't really positioning themselves well to be scoring or waste the opportunity that they are given, so she figures that she has to take the game into her own hands. If the other players aren't scoring much, she feels the pressure to do it herself.
I think that next year, when Miles returns to run the offense and Risch can be the consistent 3 point shooter ND needs, she won't feel as pressured to take over as much.
BTW, she's averaging 5.6 assists per game. She ranks 25th nationally (and 2nd in the ACC, behind Va Tech's Amoore) in assists per game. She had 9 assists against FSU. That doesn't sound like a ball hog.
