I'll be following this boxscore throughout the game to see how likely it will be that Caitlin breaks Plum's record in the next game after this one. If she averages 33 pts in each game, it will happen Sunday.

Clark still at 3 pts mid first on 1-5

Maybe she will end up breaking the record at home.

25-23 PSU end of first

Clark 5 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast
Also has 2 fouls. Not sure if she’s sitting or not.

Clark now with 23 toward the end of Q3. Unless she has a big Q4, she's going to need a BIG scoring night to break the record Sunday.

She doesn't want to do it on the road. She'll do it at home. 2/15 vs. Michigan.

91-81 Iowa mid fourth

PSU close enough so Iowa has to keep playing Clark, but she’s racking up the assists instead of points.

Stuelke with 40 pts. That’s an easy safe bet to be her career high. How often does she out score Clark?

Another really good game: the score wasn't all that close, in the end. but highlights (for me) include:

1. Penn State demonstrated Guts n Grit - they've come so far under Kieger.

2. Iowa/Carver Arena are just awesome, the way the mini-universe surrounding this team rallies to be there and witness the greatness

3. The broad impact Caitlin has had on our game - nothing quite like it, that I can remember.

4. Hanna's rise to an elite scorer.

5. The mention of a Go-Fund-Me page to get Lisa Bluder a new waffle iron. Razz

Did anyone hear a reason Molly Davis played only 4 min?? I hope she's okay.
