100%. Kitley is also a better prospect than Edwards. I'll get to see KC in person a week from tomorrow.

Edwards is good enough to be a high first round pick, just not a lottery pick. But there is always a possibility that some team will overreach and take Edwards as a lottery pick. Past draft history has shown that this can happen.

Since the W started, being the best player on a national championship team has all but guaranteed a long and successful pro career. I doubt Reese will be the exception. The bottom end of that list is who? Stephanie White? |
Kalani Brown. Danielle Adams. Judgement's still out on Haley Jones. |
Chloe Jackson led Baylor to the championship with the 2 game winning shots and was MOP as a senior mind you and yet never really made anything of herself in the WNBA. How about that Baylor team with Kalani Brown and Lauren Cox and a freshman in Nalyssa Smith taking down a senior led Notre Dame team with Arike, Jackie Young, Mabrey. Seems like those ND kids did much better in the pros.

Not sure if you were putting the post prospects in order. Here's my order for the posts:
Brink
Cardoso
Kitley
Lee

No order but i have since changed as Brink is the top Post prospect clear cut. Her size will matter but her toughness is unmatched when it comes to Cardoso who's size will help or Lee's toughness.

Is it safe to say Brink has surpassed Bueckers as the projected #2 pick on most draft boards? Paige has that "it" factor but has been relatively lackluster to start the year and doesn't look as dialed in as she was as a freshman.
On the flip side, Brink is tearing it up and is an absolutely perfect prototype for the WNBA. 6-4, long, athletic, good handles, banger in the post, good face up game, elite level shot blocker, has reduced her fouls, and has turned into a FT God. She's averaging 18.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.3 blocks on 60/42/96 shooting splits and her best showings have been in big games. If Caitlin Clark wasn't Caitlin Clark I'd think Brink would be a sure fire #1 pick in almost any other draft class, save 2016 and 2018.

Burckers dropping to my Sparks at #3 would be ok with me.

I don't think most people are expecting Bueckers to declare anyway, so it doesn't feel like a conversation that's become particularly widespread yet. The buildup to this draft is gonna be weird with so many of the best players a "maybe" to be involved or not. |

Voepels’s pre-draft lottery mock draft
1. Indiana Fever: Caitlin Clark Iowa | PG
2. Phoenix Mercury: Paige Bueckers UConn | PG
3. Los Angeles Sparks: Cameron Brink Stanford | PF
4. Seattle Storm: Kamilla Cardoso South Carolina | C
5. Dallas Wings: Aaliyah Edwards UConn | PF
6. Washington Mystics: Rickea Jackson Tennessee | PF
7. Minnesota Lynx: Nyadiew Puoch Australia | SF
Oh, come on. This is the best college draft since maybe 2019,
and Voepel wants to sound international-savvy and start taking international players already? For one thing, SF is one of the least needed positions for the Lynx. Another thing is the Lynx have a poor history with non-college international players. Ayoka Lee comes to mind first. Minnesota-born and a big center. Angel Reese, who Voepel absurdly hasn’t selected yet. Maybe even Georgia Amoore as a possibility at PG, although it’s hard to see Reeve trusting a rookie PG with much playing time, so she’d never develop under Reeve.Reeve would rather pick her up a few years later after some other coach successfully developed her.
8. Atlanta Dream: Angel Reese LSU | PF
Ridiculous. I think Voepel is just trying for views through controversy.
9. Dallas Wings: Georgia Amoore Virginia Tech | PG
10. Connecticut Sun: Jacy Sheldon Ohio State | SG
11. New York Liberty: Charisma Osborne UCLA | SG
12. Los Angeles Sparks: Isabel Borlase Australia | SG
Another international player in the first round. Voepel, you edgy.

Main breadwinner? Really? Wow. I guess we know for sure that he will never be a millionaire. I mean he could get a job depending on his major and end up making quite a bit of money. He may not need Angel’s NIL money to live off of. Also, if they continue their relationship (that’s a big if considering that they both are young) he may end up with a longer career than her.
I guess yall assumed the same thing about Aja Wilson and Candice Parker when she was with Sheldon Williams(Williams made more money than her playing in the NBA the short time he did)

Here’s Ayoka Lee’s stat line today. You can scuff because it was against North Florida, but she also played only 23 min.
Lee 36 pts (15-17, 0-0 3P, 6-6 FT), 4 reb, 0 ast, 1 TO, 3 stl, 1 blk in 23 min

With the NIL, the WNBA doesn't really make it worth to give up college eligibility if a player still has some. The only other thing is that if a player has absolutely maximized their potential .To me Clark and Reese really at this point have reached their celling in WCBB. You know what you are going to get out of them. ( Don't see Reese improving as a player due to Mulkey and her system).
Clark is defiantly #1 if she decides to leave Iowa for the WNBA. I really don't see why she would stay besides the earing potential that NIL has.
#2-#4 is up in the air. I would say it depends on if Clark stays or goes and also what the teams need in those draft positions. If Clark leaves, Indiana definitely look for a Boston Clark pick and roll next season. LA has lots of holes. They can either draft for the future by taking Reese or Brink or take another guard in Beukers(that means that some one who has played well for them will probably get cut.
If Brink is available at #3, they had better take her!!! They need her skillset and her ability to stretch the floor!! Knowing them, they might not even use her and probably trade that #3 pick for a veteran player that can help them win while they still have DT(dumb in my opinion if they do this!!)
#4 Seattle has lots of holes too! They need help in the post. I like Kitley as well but again, I am not sure what direction they will go because they need a true point guard so that the other guards they have Sami and Jewell can play on the wing.

The update on my Ayoka Lee watch:
Another 23 minute day, this time against Oral Roberts.
Lee 24 pts (11-17, 0-0 3P, 2-7 FT), 21 reb, 0 ast, 0 TO, 1 stl, 5 blk in 23 min
Almost one rebound a minute. Another high FG% day. Looking forward to the conference schedule.

I realize she is undersized and would be more of an under the radar player, but I'm really intrigued by Alissa Pili from Utah. She's listed at 6-2 and that might be generous, but she's really strong, moves well (at least on offense) and has a very low center of gravity when dribbling, making her very crafty spinning around in the lane. She went for 37 against South Carolina, including at least a few possessions against Cardoso. She's currently averaging 24 ppg on 70% shooting and 57% shooting from three (42 threes attempted through 11 games, so a decent sample size).
No idea if she'd be able to play the 4 in the W. I doubt she could transition to the 3. And I'm mostly asking off of stats because I haven't seen Utah play much, but she was the Pac 12 POY last year, which isn't nothing.
