Number 6 for Stewie! And after Tuesday’s 40-point game, give her number 7 next week, the last of the season.

There have been three previous seasons in which a player has won POW seven times. Only one of those times did the player win MVP.

I have a feeling the two times the player didn't win MVP were Maya and Diana?

The three were Tina Charles twice (2016, 2017) and Elena Delle Donne (2019). Only EDD came home with MVP.

Makes sense, re: Tina. She was high scorer on bad teams.

Her teams those years were 21-13 and 22-12. She finished 2nd in MVP voting both times.

Unforunately for Tina, Nneka and Sylvia had better teams and seasons both years.

She actually finished second three times. She was also runner up in 2011.
