Bonner on fire in this one. 41 pts on 16-23 shooting.

I have had my suspicions that have been validated by games this season. That being that Parker was not necessarily a good addition to the Aces. Her complacency tends to often show itselfl during games. She is elite when she wants to be, but often seems to sleep walk though many games. I think she also tends to affect Chelsea Grays play, since as close friends Gray will often focus on trying to get her the ball. in this last game Parker bobbled two of the passes thrown to her by Gray that she easliy could have caught had she done more than just reached instead of moving her feet. The ball hit her hands but her lack of focus caused the turnover. In the second half a ball hit on her body because she was not paying attention. However, unlike the others, she was charged the turnover for that one.
She also allowed a Sun player move in front of her too steal an offensive rebound of a free throw attempt. However, unlike with the Sparks the coach benches her when it gets too bad.

Say you just dont like her without saying you dont like her   |
People be doing the most to wrap their dislike of a player up in lukewarm takes and half-assed "analysis," just so that they don't get branded as a "hater." Embrace it, says I; own it.
Let the hate flow through you! It gives you focus, makes you stronger! #HateHard

After halftime the Aces had five of their reserve players on the floor, and their whole bench was empty of coaches and players. Then after a couple minutes the entire starting five subbed back in. Extended halftime meeting or something? Was definitely unusual.

I'm not a Candace hater, but she is not playing well, and I think willtalk's accusation of complacency is 100% spot on. It feels like she's dragging the team down when she's in there. Last night was probably the worst example, but it hasn't been a great beginning for Candace in Las Vegas. |
Agree with all of this. Also, I just knew CP would end up floating around the arc. She's not EDD, or Stewie...why is she shooting so many 3's now?
I forget which game, but Chelsea had started a fastbreak, and instead of streaking towards the basket, she stopped at the arc. Chelsea ended up hitting A'ja in stride for the layup. It was sweet. I hope Becky can convince CP to either post up, or attempt midrange shots to contribute offensively.
-I'm not a hater either. CP is REASON I started following the W in 2008.
