JMU's Kiki Jefferson has entered her name into the transfer portal. I kinda hope Kenny Brooks at VA Tech picks her up.

JMU Fr. F Mya Koné also has entered the transfer portal. She's from Pompano Beach FL and I wonder if she might be looking for a place nearer home.

Michelle Sidor, senior guard from Michigan, will be transferring to DePaul. She was out with an injury this season, so she is planning to play two years for the Blue Devils. She’s been in Michigan’s highly competitive Ross School of Business.

PG Taylor Valladay (Virginia, previous Marquette) entered the transfer portal. During the season, she was suspended for one game by Coach Mox. So this news is not surprising at all. Virginia will get two prized recruits in Kymora Johnson and Olivia McGhee.

Seems like the perfect opportunity for Jada Walker to return home…(I have zero insider knowledge)

I wondered about Clark. Tucson is about as far from the Bronx as you can get - almost a foreign country. She's a good player.

The loss of Ware is big for Adia.

surprised to see Camille Hobby NCState in the portal...as a grad student

and Gusters following Mulkey to LSU apparently didn't work out so well. She's now on her way to OkSU

Let me rephrase that for ya: Tucson is about as far from the Bronx as you PROBABLY NEED TO get (if you wanna erase it from your memory bank) Razz
But .... I'm old. Maybe it no longer resembles a war zone anymore.

And what's up with Adia? Is she no longer the Perspicacious Pied Piper of The PAC? Shocked

If I'm counting correctly that means Barnes has 5 coming back plus 3 newcomers and room for at least 4 transfers.

Kennedy Todd-Williams, 2nd team All-ACC and second leading scorer at North Carolina is also in the portal. That is a shock. Much had been made of her going to UNC as her dream school as a Carolina kid. An energy player and hustler.

She led the epic comeback against Ohio State when Kelly was out with the injury but then had a very bad final minute in that game and made costly mistakes.

You have to wonder what is going on in that locker room. Obviously bigger than the Ohio State game and not the build on last season they had expected overall in Chapel Hill.

Destiny Adams is also in the portal. She seemed happy and celebratory on the bench in the Ohio State game and generally looked happy so that’s a surprise to me, too. Highly rated HS prospect but I wasn’t too impressed with her at Carolina.

Iowa State has a small exodus of its own brewing(though nowhere near rivaling Arizona's):

Considering Joens' departure, and also the hope of having Soares back for another year being dashed, alongside 3 departures might be BIGGER than AZ's exodus re: impacting next season.

Love to know what's inside Lexi's head on this one.

I wonder if Maggie Vick is going back home. She’s from Tennessee and could conceivably have some success at a mid-major or a D-II nearer home.

Per Raoul: Taleah Washington (5-7 SR guard, District Heights, MD) has announced that she's entering her name into the portal, as a grad xfer out of Old Dominion WBB, with two years of eligibility; she started her college career at Syracuse.

This is a pretty interesting list of transfers for parsing:

Guard Ari Wiggins (sophomore) has announced her intention to transfer from Michigan.

Another potential departure - not announced by the player yet:
“Source familiar with the situation tells @TheNextHoops Michigan off-ball guard Maddie Nolan is in the transfer portal. The senior is a career 36.6% 3P%, on 5+ 3pa/g while ranking above the 90th %ile in turnover rate past two years.”

I hope KBA has some ideas of who she wants to pick up. That back court is looking awfully sparse.

Donarski would be a great pickup from Michigan, but I expect her to go to Indiana or Iowa. I'd love to see her go back to Wisconsin to play for Marisa Mosely or even Marquette. She'd be a great addition to the Big East.

Lady Vol F Marta Suârez is transferring. She was injured part of her sophomore year and took half of this year off as her mother has breast cancer. She has two years left. She'd be a really nice get for someone.
