That was excruciating, not to say ugly ball on both sides, as neither team would let the other play their game and shooting percentages for everyone except Myah Selland were atrocious. However, Bunnies win!

Now, THAT game had all the charm of watching your neighbor cutting your grass. With a pair of scissors. Razz

Must credit the Jackrabbit's for steadily hammering out the coach's game plan - their consistence was key. Not much in the way of *flashy*, but it got the job done.

I'd never seen a complete USC game before tonight, but....I'm a little shocked at realizing they actually beat Oregon, never mind Stanford. Musta been a case of 'overachieving'. Definitely some stars in the making there in LA. Rayah Marshall is a diamond in the rough.

Onward!

although considering that Oregon isn't even in this tournament, beating the Ducks wasn't exactly a Mt. Everest-type mountain for folks to climb this year...

middling defense-oriented Pac teams like USC at least know how to keep themselves in games and put themselves in position to win such games – no matter how that plays out on the court. still gotta hit enough shots to win obvi, but this was very much their style of play, so to speak, on overdrive.

and this isn't the end for USC. not even the beginning yet – considering who's gonna be suiting up for them the next time they take the court...

That can only help, but....that's not exactly like Fudd coming to help Azzi out. I just really expected more out of USC now, but their future is brightening.

Holly Warlick commented during the Indiana-Tennessee Tech game that “You do not want to play the Jackrabbits!” There was a kind of shudder in her voice. She knows what she was talking about.
