With several names still uncommitted the entire SEC has signed 5 players on the list while UConn has signed 4.

If the SEC is to recover from it's current low they need talent. The portal will provide little after the current junior class leaves and the percentage of problem players on the list will go up.

JuJu Watkins (6'1" guard, Sierra Canyon School, Chatsworth, California, headed to Southern Cal) has been named both Gatorade and Naismith HS National POY.

The other two Gatorade finalists were PG Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame) and G Jadyn Donovan (Duke).
