According to Geno at presser, Griffin was suffering back spasms in the first half, had some treatments at half time, but the spasms started again when she began playing in the second half, so he took her out for the rest of the game.

Griffin was out all last season with back surgery.

Hope Griffin is okay. She checked out in the second half almost immediately and was in sweats the rest of the game. Of course, the crack announcing team didn’t notice or comment.

The audio side saw it and reported it. In the second half they said she looked OK (radio is close to the bench) and Geno could have put her in again but with the game in hand why risk it? I think that was a little understated but the radio side is what you should use if you want to know anything about what's happening on the court. Rolling Eyes
