WSU up 50-46 wit 7 minutes left. Regardless of who wins Charlisse Leger Walker should be the MVP.

50-46 Wash. St leads with 6.5 left.

Looks like Wash. St is benefiting from UCLA's euphoria from yesterday.

Key stat WS 7-11 from 3. UCLA 4-16

Murekatete's moves in the paint and CLW's shot on the perimeter just need to continue to be present for 4 more minutes...

Beating Stanford produced a massive endorphin release and when it rears off it is like a hangover. That's what I meant.

Nine Washington State players are from outside the US. They do it because they can't get top USA players. But this year UConn has 6 foreign players and they recruit in the USA better than anybody. Makes me wonder if the number of foreign NCAA players is increasing.

OMG! Go Cougs! ( My brother lived in Pullman for a number of years so I have some familiarity with them—but they were pretty awful then.)

Pretty incredible stuff.

Watching the conference evolve over the past 20 years that is.

Seems like just about everyone has had a moment in that timespan of being at the bottom (except Stanford) and at or near the top in one way or another.

I live outside Spokane. This is cool. Gonzaga men’s and women’s team usually are the talk of the region. Now Coug Women are part of that too. I think this basketball crazy region can embrace that.

I HOPED they were, cuz I'm hoping Oregon can get in on a prayer, and they were right above Oregon in the PAC standings. Their 23-10 in a power conference ought to have been good 'nuff, but....what do *I* know?

yeah, but only projected as a 9- or 10-seed

this should bump them to at least a 7-seed, i would think

i know of at least one person elsewhere who had them as a 'sleeper pick' going into the tourney. Smile and that, ladies & gents, is how ya 🕯manifest!🕯

Congrats Cougs! I just read that this is WSU's first Pac-12 championship in a women's sport. Well done, Cougs, well done. Go make some noise in the NCAAs.
