For the NCAAs, ND will either have Miles back or enough time without her to work out how to run the offense without her.

I was at the game close to the ND bench. Olivia Miles was limping very badly and does not look close to being ready to play.

My personal opinion is that she likely won't be ready for the NCAAs. I don't have any special knowledge on that. It's just a feeling.

But that's okay. The overall season has been great for the team (which is still young). and everyone except Mabrey and Ebo are returning, with back PG and a tall, athletic 3 point shooter coming in next year.

If Miles is out, anything past the Sweet Sixteen will be gravy.

I don't think that she will be back either. That was way too much limping that I saw yesterday. Even with an additional week and a half of rest/treatment/rehab I don't see her being ready to play. At least not effectively.

Better to spend the time preparing the team to play without her, IMO.

Too bad Ivy hasn't developed a bench for things like this.

Ivey: Coach in her 3rd season rebuilding a team after a lot of transfers (mostly from change in style of play, which can happen with a new coach)
Auriemma: Coach in his 38th season

Bit of a different situation there.

That's a LOT of a different situation, even if Niele is from the same coaching family tree. Same thing happened at Tennessee when Kellie came.
