Marquette got pretty much all their points from Karlen, King and Marotta but it was enough to survive and advance winning 57-47. They’ll face UCONN tomorrow in the semifinals.

As much as I like Marquette ( which I have for a very long time, being a Milwaukee native), I was glad they won AND that the game didn't run over the time slot so I could watch the ND-Mich St hockey game in the Big10 tournament on the same Fox Channel (Yes, ND plays hockey in the Big 10. There are a lot of odd hockey conference memberships because several conferences like the ACC don't have hockey, and many conferences that do, like the Big 10, need some extra teams because some schools don't play it.)
