You can not find a closer game. Tied 24-24 after 1, 36-36 at the half, 61-61 after 3 and 73-73 going into OT.

USC is shooting 43% vs 40%, Cal leads 47% to 46% in 3 point%, and both teams are hitting 79% of their FT.

Wow! Cal won a game against a good team. Wasn't sure they had it in them this season. And no, I don't count the Beavers as a good team this season.

Yes I do. She was dealt a tough hand coming in after Lindsay Gottlieb left the cupboard bare (a few transfers also hurt). She needs to improve her recruiting but she was able to bring in some transfers this season from other Pac 12 schools (Peanut Tuitele from Colorado and Kemery Martin from Utah.)

I'm not expecting a return to the Final Four anytime soon but I believe she can get the Bears back to the NCAA within 2-3 years.

given the uncertainty about the Pac’s future nowadays, i just hope Cal has a functioning wbb program in a few years
