A return to the Fever would actually be awesome, now that the idea has been brought up.

I believe the Indiana Fevers Assistant Coaching Staff (Jhared Simpson, Vicki Hall, Gary Kloppenburg) still have contracts with the team, Briann January if hire to be the head coach will have a experience assistant coaching staff to help her navigate.

God forbid Jhared or Vicki get a shot before a recently retired player.

My memory is foggy but didn't he decline the Storm HC position when Hughes retired? Something about not wanting to be a HC again? I may have all the details wrong here.

What's going on with the Indiana Fever and Stephanie White? Stephanie White
seems like would be good match to return as the Indiana Fever Head Coach

Quote from the article - interesting tidbit.

Christie was in Pokey's coaching shadow for many years and left NU to rejoin her for the Fever disaster. Somewhere along the way, I gather their personal relationship met its demise. Somehow I missed or forgot she was in Atlanta this year!

I wish her much success! TBH, I wouldn't have minded White coming back. Is she interested in returning to coaching in the W?

Has Agler burned all his bridges because of the Sparks debacle?

I think she interviewed for Phoenix.

I wouldn't be surprised if she is interested just not interested in returning to Indiana.

Since he is still getting interviews I'd say he still has some bridges standing.

Does anyone care about the Fever - and I mean it in the sense, will the #1 pick help attendance or is it going to be winning that does it? This is one franchise I worry about shutting down shop, being sold or moved. Thoughts?

I'm sure the constant shuffling of host arenas during the seemingly never ending Bankers Life Fieldhouse renovations haven't helped along with possibly the longest stretch of mediocrity in league history.

As we've seen with NY, no team is completely safe in this league. I'm honestly surprised Indiana hasn't shut down already as the ownership group was discussing folding the team up until they won their sole championship.

I'd love to see them become relevant again. They've also had bad luck with very weak drafts. Are they too far gone that they can even foster a star player or will they leave ASAP?

LA, too

are you really a true WNBA franchise if you weren't in danger of relocating or folding at least once in your existence? 🥴

Are the Fever back at Banker's Life Fieldhouse for the upcoming season?

The Fever are at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all their home games. This is the first season in a long while in which no team has a scheduled displacement from their home arena.

Vegas is playing their season finale game at T-Mobile Arena instead of Michelob Ultra.

Bless their hearts with that "lead a talented roster back to the top of the WNBA" line. They don't believe it themselves.

Per Rachel Galligan Winsidr:

Erica Wheeler is expected to sign with and return to the Indiana Fever, sources confirm to Winsidr Wheeler previously played for the franchise from 2016-2019.
