The true candidate list


Looking ahead, Stewart leads the league in scoring because of the number of shots she takes. Charles will cut into that.

Plum’s FG% keeps falling and she’s on the outlier edge for MVP consideration. I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t make my list next week.

At the end of the year, I’m predicting Wilson will rise to the top. PPG trending upward. Best team record (which seemed to be the most important criteria last year even though Griner’s team went to the Finals), and undefeated in conference. Plus rebounding and defense are important factors over having the absolutely highest ppg.

I would love to add Courtney Vandersloot to the list. I know big scorers get more consideration, but she is guiding a team that is .5 out of first place as of this post. Wink
