I almost half-expected the interviewer would ask some silly metaphorical question like Barbara Walters' "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?" Razz

I like coach Abe a lot. Because I like coaches who can teach super aggressive, hustling, lockdown defense and disciplined offense.

Lots of UConn fans and perhaps other opponents who can't score against UCF complain that her teams play dirty. I don't agree. I think they play very physical and accept the fouls that go along with that kind of play.

If coach Abe had the talent of Stanford, South Carolina or UConn—giving her a LOT more offensive talent than she's ever had—I believe she would go undefeated.

Abe played in college two years under Andy Landers and two under Viv Stringer. Here are quotes before she even started her Albany job that I found interesting:
Quote:

Q: As a player, how would you describe the way you play?

A: I was mean. I was not very nice. I was really aggressive, and borderline mean. I was mean, dirty, but I was trained that way. I played in the SEC (Georgia), and if you didn't play that way, you wouldn't survive.

Q: You could score.

A: In high school, I averaged 44 points a game.
