Close one at Cameron. All tied up with about 8 left in 4th period.

Duke going down. VT got hot from 3.

58.4 to go, VT up 64-52.

Interesting game -- I'd never seen VT play before, and was duly impressed. This outcome certainly seems to make a mockery of the "ranking" going on these days. Razz Or. We just have that much more parity.

Welllllll. . .

You need to consider that in their previous game the Hokies got blown off the floor by 25 by UNC.

They did sweep Duke home and home though this season.

Covid and injury bugs caught up to Duke. Imani Lewis gave some good minutes but is too far behind in development. Down two starters on a team that barely has 5 starters is not going to beat most ACC teams. Duke's most experienced post - Jade Williams - missed several bunnies, which deflated the team that was barely holding together. The decision to double Kitley did limit her a little but left Sheppard wide open. She didn't hit much in their previous match, but got red hot at the right time. To say Duke rotations were not crisp would be an understatement.

Inconsistency, thy name is VT....but I kinda love you anyway. Kenny does a good job recruiting and he's brought them out of the sink they were in.
