Sue Bird's not on the list? As player coach? This has been discussed on the Liberty thread. Smile

Y’all are more than welcome to make your own list if this one ain’t cuttin’ it. Laughing Rolling Eyes And the people who voted “Someone else” are, as per usual, welcome to say who they have in mind. Maybe “Someone else” is just code for “Sue Bird” here, but I wouldn’t know.

I voted Someone Else because I feel like it'll be someone who's name isn't circulating. Or Sandy.

I voted someone else because actually the Liberty could go with Olaf and have Sandy as his assistant or vise versa. So really if you hire one, you may end up with both which NY would see as a win win.

I would have voted for T-Spoon but the Liberty would not even come close to matching the NBA money she is getting.

Interesting that Shelly Patterson wasn't even on the list. She has extensive experience in the WNBA and has never been a head coach in the league. Maybe they may consider her to keep things in house. It wont hurt to try. The players felt that there needs to be more opportunities for women of color to be head coaches in the WNBA hiring her will do that.

I suspect most people have reached the conclusion that Patterson doesn't want to be a head coach.
