I have never thought freshmen should be on this preseason list. They do updates during the season and that is when a top-performing frosh should be added IMO. I know there is only one on there, but I'm sure there is another deserving soph, junior or senior that could be listed, esp from another mid-major conference. That said, I love the fact that there are players from the following smaller leagues being recognized: Atlantic Sun, MAC, Missouri Valley and the Summit with 2. Just getting one kid on here for one of these leagues is awesome, but to get 2 is quite a tip of the cap to the Summit!

Agreed. Freshmen should definitely be confined to a Freshman of the Year list, no matter how "good" they are, or who they play for.
