This probably seemed like a really good game prior to the season.

There is one playoff spot left. So will the remaining eligible teams race for the playoff spot or race to the lottery? 🤔

Just turned this on and am very much enjoying watching Candace and Tina throw hook shots over each other.

I don't care if the Mystics are up by 8 and are choosing not to foul with <30 seconds left -- I never want to see Plaisance bring the ball up the floor again.

I was mildly surprised that Plaisance was left in for the end of the game instead of bringing in McCall.

McCall (in spite of being our Stanford girl) ain't great but at least knows her role. And when Plaisance can't hit her shots she's close to useless. This is a team desperately needing at least Atkins and MHA back.

For Chicago, interesting that only Ruthy and Evans were plus in the +- category.
Though of course we know how much that means. For Washington, Syd looked pretty hopeless and was +16 while SWK had a great game and was -4.

Myrtle, any thoughts on SWK's Mystics comeback the 2nd half of the season?

I believe that magic number is 1 for Chicago to keep home court advantage in the first round.

Who was it again that said Tina Charles was on the downswing of her career or showing her age or something? 31 pts 10 reb today, and she’s at over 23 PPG on 45% FG and 9.5 RPG on the season. If there’s a decline in her play, I’m not seeing it.

SWK has always been a big favorite for me. I think she's a player that tends to undervalue herself so needs lots of kudos from coach and teammates to play her best. Washington is a good place for her. And I think some of the improvement is just getting more comfortable with her position and role...and opportunity.

I admit to being a doubter, but yeah, she's having one of the best years of her career.

In the highlight video it was said that Quigley was the only Sky player to make a field goal in the first quarter.

The biggest doubters who matter were Kolb & Hopkins, who traded her. Apparently they didn’t think she fit their new system.

But do people really think everything happens in a vacuum? Charles was likely very motivated to become the player they felt she wasn’t. Has she been in this good of shape in a while? Has she ever made this many three point shots?

Also she may have been very motivated to make it up to the Mystics for taking a year off with pay to avoid what turned out to be a very safe bubble environment.

Maybe she would have stayed the same had she remained in New York.

The score makes the game look better than it actually was...

Out of sync all over again.

Diamond makes me hold my breath every time she shoots or goes in for a layup.

We got hacked frequently but didn't get calls.

Listened to Wade after the game. When he pulled out the starters, he said he was disgusted because they were not doing what they were supposed to and he regrets not keeping the second string in longer. No rust, just total lack of execution. Didn't blame the lack of calls either.

Blow up the team and start from scratch. Core only Copper and let the other free agents go to their favorite comfort zone. Any free agents that want to stay in Chicago will not get fat salaries. Fat salaries are for WINNERS 🏆.
