If a team cannot move up in the standings with additional wins then resting the starters for the playoffs is the best thing to do. But if a team needs to win to maintain their current playoff position then I suppose your starters can not rest.

Whoa, seeing Gustafson in a starting lineup is not something I had on my bingo card this season.

Mystics backcourt with 3 turnovers already and Seattle is nailing their transition threes.

I mean OK but Gustafson is the least of Washington's problems so far. Maybe they could collectively try getting back on defense for once, or not passing the ball directly to a Storm player.

You think McCall or Plaisance would be any better?

Gustafson was by far the better player between these three when they played in Minnesota on Saturday. Thibault just rewarding her for that I guess.

Yep. Happened in that second game against Chicago. I think it was more of a contusion/shorter-term injury than anything, which is good. It sounds like she could be available to play in the playoffs.

But now we gotta be concerned about Stewie's foot/lower leg. Confused Even in a blowout win like this, it's hard to not be concerned about the same old injury/fatigue issues going forward.

I hope it could still be Our Year – certainly there's a chance – but there seem to be more & more signs that we'll have a new champion for the 19th year in a row...

That was a beatdown. No excuses. The Mystics just are not very good right now. I forgot..... Do they have a 1st rd pick next year?

PEACE & LOVE GO MYSTICS!!!!!

The Storm had a great game plan for Charles. Double team her with bigs whenever she gets the ball on the perimeter. That way you’re taking the ball out of Charles’ hands, and it turns out she’s not very good at passing out of a double team.

Surprisingly enough, they do. The coach that’s the best at developing talent hasn’t been wanting to do that lately. Maybe he can draft Hillmon to take Hines-Allen’s place. 🤔

Yep. The only pick the Mystics have left for next year's Draft as things stand now is their 1RP. The 2RP was traded to LA for Wiese, and the 3RP was traded to Minnesota for McCall.
