One of Charles or Plaisance has to play unless they’re gonna get 40 min out of Gustafson.

Not like the Mystics can’t play 4-out for part of or even much of the game. Thibault has it in him to get creative. I don’t at least see the Mystics getting crushed.

Note to self: Always read the injury report before voting. Mystics have Erica McCall and Megan Gustafson in the front court. Period. For the entire game.

Plaisance was out here shooting during warmups so she might be able to go. Not sure I got here early enough to see if Tina was.

Turns out they’re both playing, so no danger of Gustafson getting big minutes.

Washington in a race to make the lottery. They're all neck and neck.

Mystics have battled back.
66-62 MIN end of third
I wonder if Gustafson saw my post. She seems to be playing angry.
Banham keeping Dangerfield glued to the bench.

Gustafson with 7 pts and 7 boards in 11 minutes. She's good as a bench player in this league given the opportunity.

What she doesn't have in height, physique, and athleticism, she has in effort, and hopefully will have in skillset. I see the makings of a poor man's Crystal Langhorne in her, but she will have to continue to establish consistency with her face-up game. I too want to keep seeing her in this League – maybe Washington's the right fit for her. Dallas wasn't, and really, a lot of players over the years simply weren't a match with Dallas.

We did have Tina, still recovering from injury. She clearly did not have the lift and was unable to make any of her outside shots. Still the team put together a nice run in the 3rd Q but did not have the legs for Q4.
