EDIT: Sorry for not noticing this is addressed in another thread.
A few words about tie-breaks. This is the last game between the current top three.
Two Way Tie Breaks
Seattle has the Tie Break over the Sun
Las Vegas has the tie break over Seattle
Connecticut has the tie break over Las Vegas (regardless of outcome)
Three way tie break:
IF Las Vegas wins:
1) Seattle, 2) Las Vegas, 3) Connecticut
IF Connecticut wins:
1) Seattle, 2) Connecticut, 3) Las Vegas

Actually if LV wins tonight. and there ends up a 3 way tie; CT gets 3rd, and LV #1. Procedure in 3 ways says (1) eliminate one team by round robin record (here would be CT (2-3), then (2) revert to 2 way tie breaker which is LV over Sea.

Am I supposed to look forward to the moments when broadcasters have to breathe? |

Three games with nearly identical halftime scores. How was it wrong?

Just when I think the W can't come up with a new low standard in announcers, they prove me wrong yet again.

Well, hopefully, the fourth quarter will be interesting, but Connecticut appears to have Vegas' number. At least, without McCoughtry, they do.

Aces have a very uninspiring record, coming off of extended breaks: they look mad sloppy, whenever they have >= 4 days of rest, and they've still got three more of those, between now, and the end of the season.
On the plus side, they're 5-1, coming off a loss, and their next game is at Atlanta.

Definitely not a MVP game: 8 pts, 10 reb.

And her team got the W. Jonquel's season speaks for itself. Her team is #1 and she got 8/10 on an off day for her. And big Syl stomped all over Seattle.

If the MVP was just based on tonight it would go to Sylvia Fowles in a landslide

Wasn’t suggesting it should be based on one game. Was supporting the idea that it wasn’t a great day for multiple MVP candidates.
Charles: Out (don’t rest too much)
Wilson: 1-15, 5 reb (ouch)
Stewart: 6-23, 16 reb (her FG% is already on the low side)
Collier: 6-15, 5 reb (meh)
JJones: 4-13, 10 reb
Fowles: 10-17, 20 reb (actually drops her FG% slightly but she’ll need multiple games like this to become a factor)

Why is the second-best player on a 4th seed an MVP candidate?

Seems like a fair question.
Then I checked pilight's latest MVP poll, and not only is Phee a candidate but she has 3 votes as being the 2021 WNBA MVP.
Polls huh. They're a thing.

I don't know, and correct me if I'm wrong but the wording is (from the wnba.com standings page)
More Than Two Teams Tied. As many teams as possible will be eliminated at each step. As soon as one or more teams are eliminated at any step, the process must begin again from step
At step 1 CT and Vegas is eliminated (SEA 3-2, LVA 3-3, CT 2-3)so SEA gets the 1.
So then look at CT 2-1 over Vegas so it could have been SEA, CT LVA ??
