I'll take whatever nobody else wants. But I'm still trying to figure out which team has what players since so many have played ring around the rosey. So give me one with an updated roster, ok? |
Los Angeles:
PG: Erica Wheeler/Te’a Cooper
SG: Kristi Toliver/Sydney Wiese/Seimone Augustus
SF: Brittney Sykes/Tierra Ruffin-Pratt/Bria Holmes/Nia Coffey
PF: Nneka Ogwumike/Amanda Zahui B.
C: Chiney Ogwumike/Kristine Anigwe/Maria Vadeeva
Picks: #10, 22, 28, 34
Seattle:
PG: Sue Bird/Jordin Canada
SG: Jewell Loyd/Epiphanny Prince/Kitija Laksa/Haley Gorecki
SF: Katie Lou Samuelson/Tamera Young/Stephanie Talbot
PF: Breanna Stewart/Candice Dupree/Mikiah Herbert Harrigan
C: Mercedes Russell/Ezi Magbegor
Picks: #11, 18, 23, 35
I can just hear the Sparks fans now (amongst others), arguing that depth chart layout ‘til the bitter end – but anyway, you should now be caught up.

ok, either one. Surely there are LA fans who will want LA? I guess you're being the commissioner so not taking Seattle...so I'll take Seattle.

I'm sorely tempted to take LA just to make sure they don't get any players I like...or that will help them

I agree for both teams. 1st rounder will get the boot or a seasoned player.
13 to 15 players - sh*t's simple

I can double as the Washington guy. All I have to do is mimic Mike Thibault taking a nap.
So, when are you sending out the Zoom links? |
So long as that doesn't mean you're mimicking Jonathan Kolb at the same time.
Oh lord, can y'all imagine if we did this on zoom?! I mean, a fantasy draft like that literally could be done now, but at the rate this website changes how it does things (hint: it does not), that's not gonna happen 'til all of us die out & our children/grandchildren have taken over running the day-to-day's. Forget Rebkell's 2.0 – just call it Rebkell, Jr's!
It can be an important consideration if one wants it to be! It will be irl. Though I don't think Richyyy will come swooping in outta nowhere into this fantasy draft if someone makes a player choice that a team can't afford and say, "Nope, can't do that, not enough cap space. Denied!" (Or maybe he will )

As a reminder, if anyone feels they need to PM me any picks in advance: have multiple names in mind in case by the time you pick, your first choice is already taken. If all your choices are taken, well, I'll do my best. Otherwise, if not, GMs: please check this thread often for the next few days to reduce lag times in between picks.
Okay, so since 09 PM'ed me Dallas' two top choices, we shall begin.

With the #1 Pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft... the Dallas Wings select:
Awak Kuier, out of Finland!
With the #2 Pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft... the Dallas Wings select:
Charli Collier, out of Texas!
hoopmom and Atlanta are on the clock!!

Good morning! In case you missed it, last night we started things off with Dallas making the first two picks: Awak Kuier went #1, and Charli Collier went #2.
That means hoopmom & Atlanta are on the clock! They'll get the remainder of the day to make their pick (aka, their 12-hour grace period starts... now!), seeing as I more or less implied that we would start today. (Since we got all our GMs in a very timely manner, we were able to start yesterday, after most of us had already turned in for the night.)
