For awhile there I was almost regretting not wearing my dark red sweater. (I wore the burnt orange one but it didn’t help.)

If it wasn't for Evan's efforts, this game would have been a total laugher. As it was, it was pretty much that for the 2nd half....

Early in the season, I thought Dana Evans should be the #1 pick in the draft. Now I'm back to thinking that she should at least be a lottery pick. She has the heart of a lion.

Cannot wait for the Stanford/South Carolina matchup! |
Me too! I'm still disappointed we didn't get to see Maryland vs. South Carolina. Even though the Texas vs. South Carolina was amazing in its own right.

Why is South Carolina and Stanford the first game on Friday? That should be the prime time match up

Because that’s what ESPN wants. 😝

Kiana reminds me of someone I know and I can’t think who. But she’s pretty amazing.

I think Stanford really needs more out of Haley Jones.
For a #1 recruit, she doesn't have much of a perimeter shot and her handle isn't consistent enough for her to create for herself. She had a few good takes today but I think we need more offense out of her in the Final Four.

I don't disagree with you, but also pointing out how valuable her defense and size are -- 10 rebounds tonight!

Russell Wilson actually won this game for Stanford, so, idk where all this hate is coming from.
If Ciara told me to win a game, I would die trying, so I believe it. |
No, I won the game for Stanford. I quit watching and turned on New Amsterdam.🤣

I agree, SC and Stanford is the prime match up in this one. The AZ UConn game could end up being a good one, but Dawn and Tara squaring off alone is a sight to see! PS, seems like they announced that UConn was the late game before the SC game was even done...... 🤔

I haven't seen Stanford play at all this year. Just now watched the highlights. They have a little bit of nasty (good nasty) which I really like. I hope South Carolina-Stanford is a good game.

That was one helluva a championship-team-style turnaround, wasn't it?!
That's why I have the CardinalS winning it all in the BJC.
Too many shooters, too much size, enough perimeter speed and defense, senior leadership.
I asked this same question last year, before the Covid Cessation:
If Stanford wins the NC, will Tara hold the record, in any sport, of longest timespan between Championships as a headcoach/mgr? Certainly has got to be while holding down the exact same job. It would be 29 years, and I find it rather amazing.

I would not have guessed benching Brink and Belibi would be the answer |
When your third string post goes 6-6, including 3 threes, you know you're deep. Take notes on how to develop a bench, Geno and Kim. |
To this I say, even Geno and Kim cannot turn water into wine. (As much as the vino connoisseur would love to be able to).
Stanford has a shit ton of talent. It's that simple. |
And not only that...what player is going to transfer from Stanford? So, they go 11 deep, but that isn't really feasible at any other school, because the players would just leave. You don't give up a Stanford degree. I mean, Lili Thompson and Carrington didn't play when they could, graduated from Stanford and then became grad transfers.
