covid postponement. Shit. Was looking forward to this. They say they 'may' play it later today.

I really, really hope that this was an inconclusive test and not another bombshell.

Iowa sharpshooting continues following that high scoring affair at Maryland.

End of 1st quarter, Hawkeyes shooting over 60% from field and over 50% from 3.

Michigan can shut up about being "snubbed" from the top 16 now

Yeah, that was my reaction too. You can't purport to be among the best when you take two bad losses out of three games after the announcement (the Indiana loss was after the reveal, right?)

Well that was painful for us to watch, but I’m amazed by Iowa’s offensive surge of late.

Michigan was missing Danielle Rauch, back up PG. I wonder if she was the one pulled for the covid test.

Yes, the 5 point loss at #14 IU was after the reveal - which I wouldn’t consider a bad loss sandwiched between beating both MSU the day after the reveal and then OSU (all in the same week). Today’s the only one that stunk.

Kudos to Iowa for putting on this showing after their trip to Maryland just two days ago, too!

Clark finishes with 24 on 17 shots and 9 assists. She missed several in the 4th. Tough assignment to carry the pg load and be a volume shooter. Amazing shooter.

I believe Logan Cook (back-up forward for Iowa) tested positive for Covid the day before. But everyone else on Iowa tested negative. Despite this, Michigan requested (per B1G protocal), that all players from both teams undergo PCR testing to 'confirm' the negative results. Everyone got PCR tests around 2:30pmCST when the game was originally supposed to start. Clean results came back a few hours later, and the game was finally played at 8:30pmCST.

It's awesome to see Iowa as a team making smarter decisions. I think this team has the skills to make the sweet 16 or elite 8, if they manage to draw a 6 or 7 seed. They'll need a couple more wins to make that happen though.
