Week 9 featured 18 games that were actually played. Only Colorado St - New Mexico and Virginia Tech - Boston College were postponed. Pilight pulled out the victory with 11 wins including his singular selection of Virginia Tech over Miami. The other singular wins were Pepperdine over Loyola Marymount (Howee) and Arizona St over Washington St (Pureform). Pureform maintained his 9 game lead for the season. The other 4 players are all grouped within 5 games in the race for second.

Week 10 started with everyone but Howee believing in Stanford (even a Cal fan like me). Two games have been postponed, Tennessee-Mississippi St (2/16) and Syracuse - Notre Dame (2/18). Everyone picked Indiana (over Michigan), Arkansas (over LSU) and Alabama (over Mississippi St). Twelve games were split 3-2.

probably just as well. UT Martin had 3 games in 4 days scheduled. They've been playing just about every other day since Jan 21. Crazy!

The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday which would have given UTH a day off before their game with Morehead St. It was initially postponed until today and then postponed indefinitely. But for once the postponement was not Covid-related, it was due to weather.

FINAL WEEK - no games until Wednesday
2/24 Marquette - DePaul
2/24 Bowling Green - Ohio
2/24 Drake - Northern Iowa
2/24 West Virginia - Iowa St
2/24 Oklahoma - TCU
2/25 Michigan - Iowa
2/25 Georgia Tech - North Carolina
2/25 Virginia Tech - Clemson
2/25 Kentucky - Georgia
2/25 Mississippi St - LSU
2/25 Florida St - Notre Dame
2/25 Cal St Sacramento - Weber St (stinker of the year)
2/26 Western Kentucky - Florida International
2/26 Arkansas Little Rock - Louisiana Lafayette
2/27 Indiana - Ohio St
2/27 Towson - Delaware
2/27 Ohio - Buffalo
2/27 Seton Hall - Villanova
2/28 VCU - Rhode Island

Given the massive lead, I propose that for the final week Pureform must get both the winner and the margin of victory (within 1 point) to get credit for a correct pick. That will keep up the excitement - he has already proven his prognostication acumen.

Week 10 saw 5 games cancelled leaving 15 for selection. Overall for the season more than 20% of the games have not been played.
Two players tied for the top spot with 11 correct, Myrtle and Calbearman. For one week the group did well, getting all three unanimous selections correct. Only one of three single selections won as Pureform picked Green Bay over Wright St. Going into the final week Pureform maintains a 7 game lead.

Ratz.
If ONLY I had eked out a 1 (or more) point lead over Myrtliciousness by now, life might have been simpler this week: I could have just copy/pasted her picks, and been assured victory over her. HOWEVER....as it stands now, I must throw all caution to the wind, set my sights on Pureform as my target, and hope for the best.
FINAL WEEK:
2/24 DePaul
2/24 Ohio
2/24 Drake
2/24 West Virginia
2/24 Oklahoma
2/25 Iowa
2/25 Georgia Tech
2/25 Virginia Tech
2/25 Georgia

2/25 Notre Dame
2/25 Weber St ::Wee-BERR, Wee-BERR,Wee-BERR,Wee-BERR!!::
2/26 Florida International
2/26 Louisiana Lafayette
2/27 Indiana
2/27 Delaware
2/27 Buffalo
2/27 Villanova
2/28 Rhode Island
2/28 South Carolina

Clarification:
At the time I suggested the additional criterion for Pureform it was on the basis of his 9 game lead and the closely bunched field. It was never my intention to give myself an unfair advantage. After the results of week 10 I am revising the special rules for Week 11.
Pureform will need to get the final margin within 3 points and I will need to get the games within 5 points. That will give everyone a chance at winning, provided they pick well and there aren't many cancellations.

Hmmm. If it gives me a chance at winning, how could I resist?? As a non-gambler, tell me....is this what's known as handicapping, or just charity FOR the handicapped??

I don't see it as charity. The game is supposed to be fun and this puts a little interest back into it for everyone. I think it was clear that pureform was the best this year, and when I originally suggested it I wasn't expecting to have a 4 game lead over second after last week. I will admit that I didn't do any study on what the appropriate handicap should be, but this seems to allow for someone to come from behind (even you, my friend)

The Bowling Green-Ohio game has been postponed. It is unlikely the game will be made up this week.
