This is the third attempt at playing this game. First MSU was in a pause, and then Michigan had a department-wide shut down the day after the first rescheduled game was announced. Since then the teams also missed the game at MSU. Here’s hoping there are no surprise announcements today! (We got 8-9 inches of snow overnight, too.)

Hope they get the game in today. I just saw a schedule update tweet from the Big East and thought it was another Covid stoppage but in this case it was a game being moved due to weather.

Foul trouble! Leigha Brown got her 4th, then Naz got hers. With both on the bench, the Spartans went on a run. U-M 68-62 end of 3Q.

Enjoying watching 2 real talents face each other.

MSU made a good run, but Naz & Co is the better team.

For the Wolverines, Hillmon 31, 12-14 FG, 7 boards. Leigha Brown 20 (just 6-14 FG but 6-8 FT).

For the Spartans, Clouden 34 points and 8 boards. Winston 18.

One last note: Michigan wore their warm-up shirts that were designated for the originally scheduled game on Martin Luther King Day.

Edit: I can’t get the letters to line up right. Anyway...the L is the middle letter for both.
