Can't say that I am thrilled about the trans-Atlantic flights, but I suppose the players were not going to just bunker down in Europe for over a week without practices or team activities. Getting a high quality workout for the players who have not been playing does make sense.

Sooooo... is Kelsey Plum actually gonna be able to athletically participate in this? It certainly won't have been anywhere near the requisite 9 months since she tore her achilles (back in early June). Wish this press release would address her status, as I'm guessing she won't be healed up until at least March.
