South Dakota hosted Denver today to tip off the Summit League season. South Dakota won easily, 89-49, with a lot of bench minutes in the third quarter, as well as the whole fourth quarter. Hannah Sjerven led the Yotes with 23 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes, on 8-10 shooting. Chloe Lamb had 18 points, shooting 8-11, including 2-4 from beyond the arc. The two teams face off again at 1 PM Sunday.

A 40-point shellacking, wow. I don't know how Colorado managed to lose to this same Denver team just last month. Shocked

Round two was closer, with the Coyotes winning 89-74. Again, South Dakota’s bench played a lot of minutes, and gave up too many points.... Hannah Sjerven led with 25 points and 9 rebounds in 22 minutes. Chloe Lamb had 24 points and 6 rebounds.
