If nothing else, the pandemic was good for my reading habit. Yesterday, I finished my 87th book of the year - divided about evenly between audio and physical books.

Here are the favorites that I read for the first time this year:

1. "Normal People" by Sally Rooney
2. "A Children's Bible" by Lydia Millet
3. "Exit West" by Mohsin Hamid
4. "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison (Hot take: That Toni Morrison sure could write.)
5. "Nothing to See Here" by Kevin Wilson
6. "The Guest List" by Lucy Foley

All highly recommended.
